Our mission is to ensure that we continue to enable pilgrims to answer the call of Our Lady to come to Lourdes, particularly Assisted Pilgrims and the Clinical Staff and Young Helpers who support them. We also endeavour to bring the message and gifts we experience in Lourdes back home to those who cannot travel with us through a range of online and offline events during the year. Without generous donations from our friends we would not be able to offer the financial assistance required to enable these groups to join us and cover the many other expenses involved with running a Pilgrimage.
We hope that you will support us in remaining an inclusive Pilgrimage that ensures we respond to the need to help those of limited means.

WE NEED YOUR HELP
The Ampleforth Lourdes Pilgrimage aims to be an inclusive Pilgrimage, where we do not turn away those wishing to answer the call of Our Lady to come to Lourdes due to limited financial means.
It costs over £800 to take someone to Lourdes. We ask that Assisted Pilgrims only pay what they can afford, we also offer a considerable numbers of bursaries to Nurses, Doctors, Helpers and fund members of the clergy to join as Chaplains. During the year we run a number of outreach activities for which we do not charge, so that they remain as inclusive as possible, particularly for those who are most isolated. Without the financial support of our friends, none of this would be possible, and our Pilgrimage would be much poorer in community and spirit. We hope that you will consider donating towards our Pilgrimage and those who benefit from our activities.
We are reliant on the generosity of our friends and supporters to help us continue to enable the vulnerable and those that support them to experience the transformational encounter and healing that Lourdes offers us all.
